Orange Glazed Carrots
- 5 medium carrots
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp powdered ginger
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp butter
Peel and slice carrots, on the bias. Cook in boiling water until tender. Drain and keep warm.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and ginger. Gradually stir in the orange juice and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter.
Pour mixture over carrots and fold together lightly. Serve warm. Recipe makes enough to serve 6.
