Chai Spiced Oats

Chai spice is one of my favorite additions to a lot of foods. I can’t pass on a good Chai tea, I love to add it to a smoothie, cookies, muffins, and this delicious oatmeal. Make a batch of this spice mix, and you’ll have enough on had for a few different things to try.

Chai Spiced Oats

Mix a spice mix of the following:

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp cardamom
  • 1/2 tbsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cloves

Prepare cooked oatmeal the oatmeal on stovetop with the following:
1 cup water
1/2 cup oats
Boil until cooked. Add 1/2 tsp of chai spices and stir.
I like to top it with pecans, craisins, and some honey.
