Our sweet neighbors brought us a plate of these delicious cookies, as a house warming gift, shortly after we moved into our new home. My family instantly fell in love and it has become a new favorite go-to cookie recipe year-round.
These Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cookies are a wonderful twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie recipe. The cinnamon adds a perfect hit of spice and warmth, making this one of our favorite cookies to enjoy, especially during the cooler months.
Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 12 oz chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and mix well. Add in baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Add in flour and mix, just until flour is incoorperated. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Baking at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, being careful not to overcook. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
