Healthy and Delicious Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

The flavors of Fall are one of my biggest weaknesses. I simply love the smell of the spices, and any baked treat will do me in. This wonderful Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is a great way to get the flavors of Fall, while keeping in line with your dietary goals. I love this for a good breakfast smoothie, but my kiddos also ask for it for an after school snack.

One thing we like about this recipe, you can customize and adjust it to your preferences as well. I have a dairy sensitivity, as well as with almonds and coconut, so I lean toward using oat milk. My kids do just fine with cows milk and, let’s be honest, their growing bodies need the nutrients! The protein powder is optional, but I like to add it when making this for my breakfast. I tend to leave it out when it’s more of a snack-treat.

Whip this up for a bedtime snack, or tomorrow’s breakfast. You won’t be disappointed!

Healthy and Delicious Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (I use oat milk, but you can also use almond milk, coconut milk, or cows milk)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Blend all ingredients well. You can add more or less milk, depending on the consistency that you prefer.

Enjoy!!
